Steve Caplin is a prolific writer, a digital artist and designer. His photomontage work is commissioned by magazines and newspapers worldwide. He has written five books on "How to Cheat in Photoshop" one of which I bought for myself for Christmas 2005 and have been an enthusiastic forum member ever since.
The Friday Challenge began on August 4th 2004 and the first, approprately enough, was "Boil this Egg". To see what I got up to in the forum over the years click on the Friday Challenge.

There are a few bits and pieces here. I found some old negatives I took in my teens and early twenties.
I re-photographed them as suggested in a tutorial by photography trainer Gavin Hoey
There is a picture of the rig I made to shoot the negs and some of the 50 year old images.
Photo restoration is something a few people have asked me to do for them. I have found it interesting to bring back the past in a faded photograph. I want to develop more skills in this field.
